ChirOsteo+ — A High-Velocity Treatment Developed for Ferrari Racing
ChirOsteo+ is the treatment I developed while working as the osteopath for Ferrari Racing. On a Formula 1 circuit, two criteria matter most: speed and effectiveness. Drivers and mechanics cannot afford long sessions, and the work has to hold under extreme physical load. ChirOsteo+ was my answer to that constraint — and it has since become one of the four treatments I offer at Osteopath Tokyo.
A three-axis full-body adjustment
ChirOsteo+ is a global cracking of the body along three mechanical axes. Rather than working on one joint at a time, I treat the whole structure as an integrated mechanical system, releasing accumulated tension across the spine, pelvis, ribcage and major joints in a single, controlled sequence. It is one of the most powerful ways I know to bring a body back into balance quickly — particularly after a strong impact, an accident or a competitive event.
Finished with a biodynamic balancing
The mechanical release is only half the work. I finish every ChirOsteo+ session with a biodynamic balancing — a much gentler, listening phase that lets the nervous system integrate the changes and the tissues find their own way back to a settled state. This combination is what gives ChirOsteo+ its lasting effect: the immediate decompression of a high-velocity treatment, with the deep integration of biodynamic care.
Who it suits
ChirOsteo+ is especially well suited to athletes, drivers and active adults who need to recover quickly between events, as well as patients recovering from a strong accident (after appropriate emergency medical evaluation). It is not the right approach for every body or every condition — if you are nervous about cracking techniques, or if your case calls for a gentler approach, I will recommend one of my other three treatments instead. Tell me what you are looking for, and we will choose together.
