リング・ディンガー®とは？

リング・ディンガー®（ジョンソンY軸調整™とも呼ばれます）は、手技による脊椎減圧のテクニックです。仰向けになっていただき、骨盤と脚をしっかり固定したうえで、身体の長軸（Y軸）に沿って素早く、コントロールされた牽引を加えます。一椎ずつ調整していくのではなく、背骨全体を縦方向に、一瞬の動作で扱うのが特徴です。

よく話題になる「ポキッ」という音は、キャビテーションと呼ばれる現象です。関節内の圧力が下がることで、溶けていた気体が気泡になる音で、ほかの関節が鳴るときと同じものです。骨がずれる音ではありませんし、音の大きさが効果を表すわけでもありません。音が鳴らない施術でも、効果は変わりません。

施術の流れ

ステップ1

適応の確認

既往歴、症状、画像検査や診断でわかっていることをうかがい、この手技を行えない状態がないかを確認します。

ステップ2

全身の調整

まず軟部組織へのアプローチと関節の調整を、首から骨盤まで行います。ゆるんだ組織のほうが反応がよく、減圧もずっと楽に受けていただけます。

ステップ3

減圧

骨盤と脚を固定し、タイミングをお伝えしてから牽引を加えます。動画で見るほど激しいものではなかった、とおっしゃる方がほとんどです。

ステップ4

施術のあと

施術後は、背が伸びたように感じ、身体が軽くなる方が多いです。翌日に軽い筋肉痛のような感覚が出ることもありますが、正常な反応です。その後の見通しと、次回が必要かどうかもお伝えします。

安全ですか？

動画で見ると派手に映るため、不安に思われるのは当然です。実際にはコントロールされた牽引で、施術はすべてデイビッドが行います。よくある反応は、翌日の軽い筋肉痛程度です。

安全性は牽引そのものよりも、事前の確認にかかっています。骨密度の低下や骨粗しょう症、最近の骨折、脊椎の手術歴やインプラント、脊椎の炎症性疾患、出血しやすい体質や抗凝固薬の使用、血管の疾患、骨に及ぶがんがある場合、また妊娠中の方には行いません。

判断が難しい点があれば、その旨をお伝えしたうえで、ホリスティック・オステオパシーで対応します。同じところに、より穏やかに近づける施術です。「今回は行いません」とお伝えするのも確認の結果であり、無駄足ではありません。

どんな方が受けにいらっしゃるか

効果の出方には個人差があり、結果をお約束することはできません。比較的よく反応するのは、次のような状態です。

圧迫されている感じ

長時間のデスクワーク、長い通勤、ハードなトレーニング、重い荷物。週の終わりに、朝より背が縮んで固まったように感じる——この感覚に向けた手技です。

力学的な腰・首の痛み

姿勢や動作、時間帯によって変わる痛みやこわばりで、医療的な治療が必要なものではないと確認できている場合。

神経に由来するような症状

坐骨神経痛、放散する痛み、しびれなど、神経への圧迫が疑われる場合。症状が広がっている、悪化しているときは、施術の前に医療機関での評価が必要です。

Highly Recommending I was struggling with intermittent back and shoulder pain, some due to sports injuries and some being long term. David’s consultation was very helpful. I used to see an ostheopathe in France who really helped me heal from a lot of body pains. I first came to David by referal after an impact accident that left me with neck and hip injuries. Because of it, doctors told me I had a hernia scare and would need physiotherapy. Ich bin nach zwei Behandlungen schmerzfrei unterwegs. Denn er hat sich sehr um mich gekümmert und ziemlich viel Zeit genommen um alles zu analysieren und entsprechend die Behandlung durchzuführen. I have known him for over 4 years, visit him when my spine and neck are tortured by pain, and just after one session I am able to feel myself alive again. He touch my shoulder and he said “ are smoking more than 10 years? “ He touch my uterus area and he said “ your period is always irregular?”” Tbh I was shocked and amazed how knowledgeable he is. After the massage 💆 I was able to sleep 10hours without interruption at hotel. it felt good. When I get back to America could not find similar massage!
